Terms of Service

The ground rules for playing Twin Pics.

Last updated: March 21, 2026

1Welcome to Twin Pics

Twin Pics ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at twinpics.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using Twin Pics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2How the Game Works

Twin Pics is a daily AI image generation game. Here is how it works:

  • Each day, a new challenge image is generated and presented to all players.
  • You write a text prompt to generate your own AI image, attempting to match the challenge as closely as possible.
  • An AI model compares your generated image to the challenge and assigns a similarity score from 0 to 100.
  • Scores are displayed on a daily leaderboard so you can see how you stack up against other players.

3Sessions & Identity

When you first play, Twin Pics automatically creates an anonymous session to store your images, scores, and game progress. No email address or personal login is required to play.

You may optionally sign in with Google, Microsoft, Apple, or email and password to preserve your data across browsers and devices. If you sign in, your anonymous game history is transferred to your new account.

If you play without signing in, your session is tied to your browser cookies. Clearing your cookies will make your session inaccessible.

4Eligibility

Anyone may play Twin Pics anonymously without creating an account. To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

When Twin Pics is used in a school or classroom setting, the teacher or school administrator may consent to student use on behalf of parents, consistent with applicable children's privacy laws including COPPA. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5Classrooms & Live Games

Teachers can create classrooms and invite students to join using a word-based code. Students participate by entering the code and choosing a nickname.

  • Teachers can view student nicknames, prompts, scores, and participation within their classrooms.
  • Teachers can run live games where students compete in real time to match a challenge image.
  • Teachers can create custom challenges using AI-generated images.
  • Teachers can remove students from their classrooms at any time.

6Your Content & Prompts

When you submit a text prompt to generate an image:

  • Your prompt is sent to a third-party AI image generation service to create the image. You should not include personal information in prompts.
  • You agree not to submit prompts that are harmful, abusive, hateful, or intended to generate inappropriate or illegal content.
  • Prompts are automatically screened for content safety. Prompts that violate our content guidelines will be blocked.
  • We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or refuse to display any generated images at our discretion.
  • You retain ownership of your prompts. By submitting them, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use the resulting images within the Service (for example, on leaderboards and share cards).

7AI-Generated Content

All images on Twin Pics -- both challenge images and player submissions -- are generated by artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. Similarity scores are determined by an AI model and are inherently subjective; they should be treated as entertainment, not as a precise measurement.

8Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or interfere with the game's systems.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Submit prompts containing personal information about yourself or others (such as real names, addresses, or phone numbers).

9Intellectual Property

The Twin Pics name, logo, visual design, and underlying software are the property of Twin Pics and its creator. You may not use our branding or trademarks without prior written permission.

Ownership of AI-generated images is governed by the terms of the underlying AI service providers. We make no claim of exclusive ownership over images generated through the Service.

10Third-Party Services

Twin Pics relies on third-party services to operate, including AI image generation, image scoring, content safety, payment processing, and analytics services. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of Twin Pics may also be subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

11Limitation of Liability

Twin Pics is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Service interruptions, downtime, or errors.
  • Loss of session data, scores, or game progress.
  • Content generated by the AI systems, including challenge images and player submissions.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Twin Pics after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
